How daily and weekly quests work

Checked

Do this before your first task. Open your menu to the Quests tab or interact with Angelo's Rock, read the exact action verb on your first assignment, and perform it once to confirm the progress counter registers.

The three rules

  1. Track the verb, not the room. A quest instructing you to answer teacher questions never credits passive attendance; progress increments strictly when you execute the required verb.
  2. Check your server type first. Live Servers and Open Worlds draw from separate pools of 50+ quests. An objective logged in an Open World will not match a standard Live Server list.
  3. Clear all three daily quests together. Completing single tasks yields base rewards, but claiming the bonus requires finishing the complete trio before the daily refresh.

Trap: waiting in class for a question counter

The most common mistake on day one is sitting through an entire class period expecting a quest worded "answer teacher questions" to clear upon dismissal. Passive classroom presence counts as attendance, not participation. Sitting silently advances the counter by zero and burns a fifteen-minute class cycle.

Where daily and weekly quests live

The quest engine offers two official access points across Morioh:

  • Angelo's Rock: the physical monument in town acts as an interaction landmark.
  • The Quests Tab: accessible directly from the in-game main menu HUD.

The 18 October 2026 update introduced over 50 distinct quests divided across two distinct gameplay environments: Live Servers and Open Worlds. Clearing all three daily quests grants an additional completion bonus, and clearing the weekly set provides a corresponding milestone reward.

Read the verb, not the place

The community recording above shows the Occult Club route: the room sits on the third floor from 0:09, the noticeboard and its task line appear from 0:18, and the fourth case pays Stand Shards. The video is a recording of the game, not a developer statement, so read it as one player showing the board rather than as a published rule.

Notice how the interface operates: progress requires fulfilling the specific task stated on the notice, not merely idling in the club room. Every quest entry specifies an operational action:

  • Answer: requires clicking or typing a response during academic prompts.
  • Attend: requires sitting through a designated period until the bell rings.
  • Win / Collect / Finish: requires an objective trigger in combat, campus exploration, or mini-games.

Always perform the action once, verify whether the counter moved from 0/X to 1/X, and only then commit to finishing the set.

What is confirmed versus what stays unknown

The update established core mechanics, but several edge cases remain undocumented:

What is confirmed:

  • Over 50 quests exist across separate Live Server and Open World pools.
  • Three daily quests form a set; completing all three pays a bonus payout.
  • Weekly quests track across a longer cadence with their own completion bonus.
  • Quests operate independently from the campus Gauntlet event, which spawns every two hours splitting the server into two competing teams.

What stays unknown:

  • Whether incorrect quiz answers satisfy an "answer questions" requirement.
  • Whether class attendance counts retroactively if accepted mid-period.
  • The precise reset timer hour for weekly quest rotations.

Treat unverified community assertions with skepticism until you test the counter yourself.
