The three rules
- Saving is manual. The developers' note is blunt: save before rerolling. Nothing does it for you.
- The record keeps the skin. A saved Stand is worth more than its rarity suggests, because the variant you paid for comes back with it.
- The record is the only undo. Replacements are random, and there is no rollback for a Stand you never saved.
The one order that matters
- Open the phone and find Stand Storage.
- Save the Stand that is currently equipped, and let the confirmation land.
- Only then reroll.
- Load the record back if the result is worse.
Saving costs nothing that has been published. Treating the equipped Stand and the saved record as the same thing is the mistake this page exists to prevent.

What the patch actually said
On 18 October the update log added Stand Storage — save and load a Stand including its skin — plus a warning to save first, Last Name Storage for your surname, and a fix for changing gender removing a custom name.
That is the whole published description. The entry point, the number of slots, whether saving or loading costs anything, and whether loading overwrites the record you loaded from are all unpublished, so this page does not guess them.
Trap: rerolling an unsaved Stand
The expensive version of this mistake: a player rolls something good, decides to gamble for better, buys 100 Rerolls and never touches Save. A hundred Rerolls or ten Arrow Shards is a lot to pay for a Stand you did not want to lose, and the loss is permanent. Storage is free; skipping it throws away hours.
What to do while those details are unknown
- Screenshot the record after saving. If a load ever lands on a different Stand, the screenshot is what proves what you saved.
- Do not save over your only record until you have seen the new one list the right name.
- Assume nothing about slot count until the phone shows you.
What a failed save costs you
A replacement cannot return the Stand you currently own, so a reroll without a record is irreversible in practice: you can roll again, but you cannot roll back. The recovery path is the record, and only the record.
After you have a record
The price of a replacement is on the reroll page, and the numbers that tell you whether the new Stand is actually better are in the Stand table — start with the skill cooldown, not the barrage total.
